Soundrider is the Personal Brand of a motorcycle Adventure Rider. He wanted an online identity that people would look at and identify him with.
Since motorcycle riding is something that defines him, I decided to incorporate that while designing his logo and stickers.
My inspiration for this hyper-realistic 3D Chrome Lettering Logo was the emblems found on vintage cars and motorcycles. With stylistic retro automotive lettering, these logos are instantly recognisable by anyone.
I decided to give this type-treatment to these letters to capture his main interest through the rugged rustic aesthetic of this type of lettering.
I decided to go with an illustrative caricature of him with his Instagram handle of designing a sticker that could be given to others as well as used on his gear. This type gives a rugged rusty feel to the whole sticker.

Soundrider Sticker was one of my first projects when I pivoted towards Lettering, Illustration & Digital Art. Idea was to use it as the identity of @soundrider and I wanted him to have his own sticker!
And then when @soundrider asked that he wants a version with just the Logotype, I told him I had a vision for it and to wait for the reveal.
Inspired by Vintage & Retro Cars & Motorcycle Logos, I wrote Soundrider in the same style and gave it a type treatment for it to look realistic & give that 3D Chrome effect 🏍️

On an evening walk to soak in a bit of essence of Bir, I visited the Chokling Monastery to spend some time in my own company, observing life as it passes by.
These are some of the moments that brought a smile to my face, after catching a cold and not feeling like I had done much and days were just passing by sick.

Sometime last year after I had fractured my shoulder and the doctor told it was okay for me to start using my hands to draw again, I was ecstatic!
My hands were itching to create magic after almost two months of rest. It was also a time of contemplation for me, rethinking what I was drawn towards the most, the one I could now call my calling. And it happened to be “Lettering”.
The art of decorative letters was fascinating and the myriad of ways I could draw the same 26 of them to convey moods on any part of the spectrum. I took @aureliemaron‘s courses to refine my skills to take up more client work.
One of my first projects was to create a Studio Sign for “Inside Traveller’s Shoes” which would act as a platform for both my Travel and Art Ventures.
My inspiration was to incorporate Neon Signs and the Wild West and I am extremely happy with this result.
